He has a bachelors degreeand a PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (Educational Sciences section) from the University of Santiago de Compostela,and is a tenured lecturer in the Didactics and School Organization Department. He has a Master’s Degree in Systemic Pedagogy from CUDEC in Mexico and has trained in various psychotherapeutic areas: Gestalt-oriented psychotherapy, PNL, enneagram, transactional analysis, etc...His main lines of research are the following: “The individual and the community in the pedagogical work of A. S. Neill and A. S. Makarenko. A comparative analysis”, which was awarded First Class Honours. He has also taught subjects such as “School Organization”, “Social and Organizational Psychology”, “School Organization and Management", and at present “School Organization”. He has also had management responsibilities, as Secretary of the Pedagogy Section from 1988 to 1994, and as secretary of the Department of Didactics form 1997 to 2005. He currently continues to coordinate the course “Didactic Approaches to Curriculum Areas”, taught at the Department of Education, under an arrangement with the Piaget Institute in Oporto (Portugal). Regarding aspects more closely related to communication, mention should be made of his doctoral thesis entitled “Communication Pragmatics and teacher-learner interaction in the classroom: analysis of the evolution of relational control”. This thesis received the Extraordinary PhD Award.In 2005 he obtained another award for educational innovation at USC. He has also taught subjects such as “Group education techniques”, “Social Psychology of Education” and “Action Group Techniques”, as well as several training courses. His focus is now on the application of systemic constellation theory and practice to organizations and schools. He is a member of the Spanish Bert HellingerAssociation of Family Constellations (AEBH) and is also on its Board. He gives workshops on Family and Systemic Constellations and other courses on Systemic Pedagogy. In all these areas he has participated in research projects, published a number of works, attended conferences and taught numerous courses.
