Last Wednesday April 11, Silvia López Gómez, member of the Stellae group, collected in the ceremony of delivery of the X Educacompostela Awards, held in the Noble Hall of the Pazo Raxoi, a special mention for his work "Pirillán", a talking pad of recited Galicia designed for boys and girls from 0 to 3 years old.

This award, convened by the City Council of Santiago de Compostela in collaboration with Nova Escola Galega, also recognized the project "CuntiStar" of the CPI Aurelio Marcelino Rey García (Cuntis), the "Interlevel project and Interstage of Mythology from the library” of the IES Fontexería de Muros in collaboration with the CEIP Felipe de Castro de Noia and the CEIP Pepe de Xan Baña, the project “Auga Doce” of the CEIP of Barouta (Ames) and “Longa Ollada pola ruta Translatio” from the multilingual IES Cachada (Boiro).

This event was added, one day later, on Wednesday 12 April, the defense of his doctoral thesis entitled "Descriptive and interpretative analysis of the design and content of video games produced in Galicia" and directed by Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez.

In the thesis, evaluated with the highest qualification, Silvia designed a video game evaluation guide and, after a previous process of identification and cataloguing of the educational video games developed in Galicia, analyzed in depth 20 of these resources, locating strengths and weaknesses to provide recommendations for several professionals.

The defense of the work had a lot of impact on the press and we leave the links where you can see the news and interviews that were published:
