The researcher Donatella Persico from the Instituto per la Tecnologie Didattiche of Genoa, which is part of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (National Research Council) of Italy, is doing a research stay (for three weeks) with the Stellae Research Group at the Faculty of Education Sciences of USC.

Donatella Persico has an extensive trajectory and experience in the educational field,her research focuses on training in digital technologies  (theory and applications), self-regulated learning, teacher education and pedagogy in the digital age. She has participated and participates in European and national projects about these topics. She also directs an important journal with a great national and international trajectory about technology and didactics "Italian Journal of Educational Technology" (it can be consulted at the following link https://ijet.itd.cnr.it/ )

The stay aims, among other objectives, to generate synergies of work processes between both groups, present researchs developed in both spaces and develop an investigation that born from the research stay of a member of the group, Ana Rodríguez Groba, at the institute (ITD) at the end of 2016. This is the start of an analysis of the professional development of teachers in both countries focused on the resources used for the didactic design.
