On the 27th and 29th of March, the V Conference on Rural Educational Innovation was held in the Faculty of Educational Sciences in which Professor Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez, a member of the Stellae Group, has participated.

The objective of this activity has been to deepen the knowledge and dissemination of good practices developed in rural contexts, which is why the projects carried out in the Xermade Town Hall, in the province of Lugo, were presented at a round table moderated by Jesús Rodríguez. The attending public had the opportunity to know the works that for 15 years has been carried out jointly by the Cabreiros Neighborhood Association, the University of Santiago de Compostela and the City Council of Xermade. In addition, the play "A school in black and white" directed by José María Carricoba was recreated by the group Carballo Vivo (Friol), in which the main characteristics of the Francoist school were recreated.
