Almudena Alonso, member of Stellae, has obtained one of the extraordinary doctorate awards of the 2016/17 academic year awarded by the University of Santiago de Compostela. These awards are divided into 5 areas, one of which is the Social and Legal Sciences, where the thesis is presented and that was entitled "Digital competence and school ethnographic case study in two CEIP of Galicia"

To this we can add an earlier prize: I Prize for the Best Doctoral Thesis in the field of Educational Technology awarded by the University Network of Educational Technology (RUTE).

The thesis, directed by Adriana Gewerc, seeks to describe, know and understand the processes of appropriation that occur in the educational centers of Galicia following the legal provisions of the curriculum of primary education (Decree 130/2007), especially those referred to digital competence In his research Almudena Alonso found disruptive elements that mobilize school actors, "which favors the questioning of the practice itself, although without generating a transformation of it".

Congratulations Almudena!
