Last week, members of the Stellae Research Group -Silvia López and Sandra Dorado - have been organizing and preparing their workshop "Video Games to promote social change. To know and analyze serious games aimed at the treatment of current problems", framed in the VIII International Seminar-Workshop Assessment of Teaching Materials, that will take place on February 17 and 18 at the CPI Plurilingüe Virxe da Cela in Monfero (A Coruña).

Through a theoretical-practical methodology will address the transforming role of video games in society. The attendees to this workshop will be able to know the potentialities of serious games, the criteria to be taken into account in their selection or how to analyze them. All this in order to have the necessary tools to question the materials themselves and the use that derives from their reflective practice in the classroom.
