Within the framework of the International Doctoral School and the Doctorate Program in Equity and Innovation in Education, C. Denébola Álvarez Seoane, researcher of the GI Stellae, defended last June 25th in the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of Santiago de Compostela the doctoral thesis Teaching materials in printed and digital format prepared with the support of the local administration. Prospective and descriptive study in the province of A Coruña, with the direction of Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez and obtaining the qualification of Distinction "Cum Laude".

The investigation carries out an exploratory study of the didactic materials elaborated in the province of A Coruña from the municipal elections of 1979 to the present, making reference to the resources elaborated in other places such as municipalities, museums, associations, libraries or educational centers, but always with the support of the local administration (town councils and Provincial Council). 1357 community didactic materials were located, cataloged and analyzed and the processes of elaboration of these resources explained by the municipal managers are described.

The conclusions of the research are based on the value the large quantity and diversity of teaching materials have focused on the dissemination of distribution and distribution, are provoked in many occasions are unknown by society, by education professionals and by the municipal entities that are recipients or producers. It is suggested the need to create a resource bank or a provincial repository in order to conserve and facilitate access to all the materials that are elaborated from these institutions and that respond to a high pedagogical, educational and social value.
