Raúl Eirín Nemiña

I have a degree in Primary SchoolTeaching, Philosophy and Educational Sciences, as well as a PhD in Pedagogy from the University of Santiago de Compostela. My professional career started as a Physical Education teacher in Primary School. I carried out this work for ten years both at primary and compulsory secondary education levels. Since 2000 I have worked as a consultant in training structures for practicing public education teachers (CFR). I am currently collaborating with several European school projects regarding the introduction of ICT, the relationship between the school and the community, and training for practicing teachers. I have also participated in a number of national and international conferences on the didactics of Physical Education. My interests and publications focus on teachers’ professional development, especially in the field of Physical Education, and on the process of improvement and innovation at school.
