The General Assembly of the Association of Emeritus Faculty of the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela has just renewed its board of directors, which now includes Adriana Gewerc — member of the Stellae research group — as a board member (vocal), together with other highly distinguished professionals: Professors José Manuel Sabucedo Cameselle (President), Juan Viaño Rey (Vice-President), Teresa Fanego Lema (Secretary), Laura Sánchez Piñón (Treasurer), and Eugenio Uriarte Villares and Juan Luís Barja (Board Members).
This team aims to consolidate the work carried out by the founding members of the association, placing special emphasis on the role of emeritus faculty in research activity, teaching, and academic advising.
