On April 24, 25, and 26, the 11th Interuniversity Scientific Meeting of Young Researchers took place at the Faculty of Education and Social Work on the Ourense Campus of the University of Vigo. Several predoctoral members of the GI Stellae research group attended the meeting: Pablo Gayo Pérez, Carolina Rodríguez González, Ana Rodríguez Guimeráns, and Inés Ramos Trasar.
This meeting represents an important activity for predoctoral researchers, as it is held annually and its main objective is to foster a space for meeting, dialogue, and shared experience among researchers in training, where they can exchange and discuss progress in the multidimensional process involved in the development of their doctoral theses.
During the meeting, attendees enjoyed the opening keynote lecture on a highly relevant topic in the field of education: Universal Education and Its Discontents.
In the afternoon, the various thematic seminars were held. Among them, Almudena Alonso Ferreiro, a member of GI Stellae, delivered the seminar corresponding to Track B entitled Researching to Transform: The Path of Knowledge Transfer in Education.
To conclude the event, on Sunday morning a Human Library session took place under the title Thesis Stories: The Book I Wish I Had Read, in which different challenges that may arise throughout the predoctoral journey were addressed.
