Last Friday and Saturday, 9 and 10 May, the VII International Workshop on Discourse Analysis (IWoDA’25) was held at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela, with the theme ‘Language Learning in Digital Environments’. The Stellae Research Group has been involved in the organisation and participation of this event which is part of the national project ‘Improving English pronunciation in digital environments inside and outside the EFL/CLIL classroom in primary school: Linguistic and pedagogical-didactic foundations’ (TED2021-13-0283B-C21), in which some of its members participate.

Friday started with the inauguration of the event:

During the afternoon, the presentation of the project ‘Improving English language pronunciation in digital environments inside and outside the EFL/CLIL classroom in primary school: linguistic and pedagogical-didactic foundations’ (E-Profun) took place in a round table that gave an account of its meaning and development. It was also possible to explore the resulting tool.

The morning of Saturday 10 May 2025 focuses on English language learning in terms of educational policies, classroom trends and teachers’ needs.

Thank you for joining us for this day of co-learning, dialogue and exchange!
