Inés Ramos Trasar, member of the Stellae Research Group, has participated in the “EERA Summer School 2025”, held on June 2-6, in the city of Chemnitz located in the southwest region of Saxony (Germany). It is a meeting between researchers from the national and international field that seeks to be a space for meeting, dialogue and reflection for all attendees.
This city, chosen to host the Summer School, will be the European Capital of Culture in 2025. For this reason, the Chemnitz University of Technology decided to focus the thematic focus of the meeting on the role of “culture” in educational research, policy and practices. In addition, it should be noted that this faculty is also home to the Institute of Pedagogy (Institut für Pädagogik).
In this context, the predoctoral researcher Inés Ramos Trasar presented, within the framework of her thesis project a communication on the influence of the practices of young influencers on digital platforms and the role of the school as a social and cultural agent.
In addition, during this experience, the predoctoral researcher participated in several work sessions and has attended several conferences given by various professionals: Prof. Tanu Biswas (University of Stavanger), Prof. Paul Standish (University College of London) and Dr. Thomas Zingelmann (Friedrich Schiller University of Jena). He has even been able to enjoy several excursions that have allowed him to get to know the city.
Thus, the EERA Summer School has been an experience that has given her the opportunity to discuss and share her research and experience in the PhD program, through discussion groups and workshops, under the help and supervision of various research professionals and professors of the Chemnitz University of Technology.
