Members of the Stellae Research Group took part in the 1st International, Professional and Interuniversity Congress on Social Education (CIPIES25), held on May 8 and 9, 2025, at the Faculty of Education Sciences (Campus Vida) of the University of Santiago de Compostela. This event aimed to be a meeting space for Social Education professionals, with a central focus on well-being and socio-educational support.

Among the various presentations, Silvia López Gómez delivered the talk GALIMAP: a tool for the visibility of social-community didactic material in Galicia, co-authored by Ana Rodríguez Guimeráns, Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez, and the speaker herself, all members of the Stellae group. The presentation introduced the design, development, and evaluation process of the first Interactive Map of Educational Materials created in socio-community contexts across municipalities in Galicia.

Additionally, Carolina Rodríguez González presented the talk Beliefs about gambling among adolescents: the case of Mario as a trigger, a proposal developed jointly with Ana Rodríguez Groba, both also members of the Stellae group. This presentation analyzed an activity carried out within a school-based prevention project addressing both online and in-person gambling, which revealed key issues to explore in future prevention efforts.

The CIPIES25 Congress provided social educators and other interested professionals with a unique space to share research, experiences, knowledge, and innovative practices related to well-being and socio-educational support, core pillars of the profession.
