After taking place in Galicia (I–IV) and Portugal (V), the VI FENDA DIXITAL – INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL GENERATIVA E OS NOVOS DESAFIOS NA EDUCAÇÃO reached Latin America, hosted by the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) in Curitiba, Brazil, with the support of Nova Escola Galega, the CAVILA group, and other institutions and associations. It became an international meeting to address the opportunities and challenges that AI poses for teaching and learning.
From July 16 to 18, more than 500 teachers, researchers, and education professionals discussed the impact of AI in classrooms, teacher training in the face of new digital challenges, the need for critical digital literacy, and many other issues relevant to the present and future of education.

The conference featured strong participation from the Stellae research group, including Professor Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez (conference chair), Inés Ramos Trasar, Adriana Gewerc Barujel, Ana Rodríguez Guimeráns, Silvia López Gómez, and Pablo Gayo Pérez. In the coming months, the conference proceedings will be published. Galicia is looking forward to the next edition of the conference, which will take place in approximately two years.
