The Lusophone Journal of Education publishes, in its issue number 65, the paper titled “Artificial intelligence in the university context. Aportes desde la investigación”, signed by Silvia López Gómez, Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez and Raúl Eirín Nemiña (members of GI Stellae, USC), together with Diana Marín Suelves (Universitat de València). The article offers a systematic review of the most recent scientific production on AI in the university environment.
Based on a mixed approach, the study analyses how AI is being integrated into teaching methodologies, the perceptions it raises among teaching staff and students, as well as the main challenges and opportunities it poses for higher education institutions.
This paper aims to provide a useful overview of the current state of knowledge on this topic, and to serve as a starting point for future research and initiatives in university contexts.
