The work brings together reference evidence on the production, distribution and pedagogical use of digital content in school education in Spain. Based on a comparative study of commercial and institutional platforms, and with contributions from national and international experts, the book offers an accurate diagnosis of the strengths and weaknesses of the current ecosystem, as well as specific proposals for teachers, administrations and edtech companies. In a context where the quality of digital material marks the difference between mere technification and authentic innovation, this work becomes an essential guide for informed and sustainable decision-making.
The book, coordinated by Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez (USC), Diana Marín Suelves (UV) and Ana Luisa Sanabria Mesa (ULL), is divided into 27 chapters, eight of which feature contributions from researchers from GI Stellae. The chapters address various topics related to evaluation, guidelines and analysis models, international comparisons, resources available on platforms, video games, digital textbooks, inclusion and accessibility, and a longitudinal analysis of teaching materials.
