Next Thursday, September 28, the Educando en Igualdade event organized by the Galician coalition of the World Campaign for Education (CME) will be held.
The CME coalition, which in Galicia is made up of the entities Entreculturas, Fundación Educo, Taller de Solidaridad, the University of Santiago de Compostela and Ayuda en Acción; organizes an activity that is part of the current Galician CME project, whose theme revolves around gender equality in the educational framework.
The CME aims to create a democratic and diverse space, where we can talk and dialogue about issues related to education for equality. The idea of the meeting is to bring together people related to the subject, from university professors, activists, disseminators, to political officials, divided into 4 dialogue tables, with a corresponding thematic pill. In addition, between tables there will be virtual intervention in the form of small reflective/explanatory videos by experts who cannot attend the meeting in person, thus leaving their contribution as a source of inspiration and information to the people present.
Uxía Regueira, member of the Stellae research team, will participate in the round table titled “Internet and gender: reification in times of social networks” where she will speak in relation to the results of the EDIGA Research Project: Digital Environments and Gender Identity in the Adolescence (funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness) and his doctoral thesis project, on the participation processes mediated by digital technologies of Galician adolescents.
On the event poster you will find the QR code for registration for the event, both in person and virtually. And, on their social networks, you can find more information about it:
