On September 3 and 4, the XIV Seminar of the Interuniversity Network of Guidance Teachers (RIPO) was held at the Faculty of Education of the University of León, which was attended by professors Elena Fernández Rey and Rebeca García Murias (USC). The Interuniversity Network of Guidance Teachers (RIPO) was created with the aim of consolidating a space for meeting and debate that would allow us to generate, from research and teaching related to guidance, some responses to the challenges posed by society.
During the meeting, Professor Rebeca García Murias participated in one of the coordinated tables on "Representation, participation and visibility of RIPO members in international associations". On both days, various meetings were held among the members of the network, with days of reflection on 1) Interconnection with existing professional associations both in the national and international context: visibility of the role of guidance in society; 2) Quality training of guidance professionals: contribution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the functions of guidance professionals.
The seminar was closed with a discussion on good guidance practices, and with the determination of the dates of the next meeting of the network.
