The Transdisciplinary Network of Educational Research (RETINDE) organizes its III RETINDE Meeting on November 28 and 29 in Santiago de Compostela. This third meeting aims to be a continuation of the work carried out in the two previous meetings organized in Madrid and Barcelona; to contribute to the strengthening of the network and the creation of ties and synergies that consolidate it as a collective. The organizing committee of this third meeting is made up of people from two of its member networks: REUNID and SIPS.
Within the framework of the objectives pursued by the RETINDE Network and specifically, in this third meeting, it is intended to: 1) Promote a space for exchange and forum for the debate of ideas among the members that make up the Network; 2) To help deepen existing collaborative synergies to further develop the Network; 3) Identify proposals for future actions of the NETWORK.
To participate in the meeting, attendees will be able to send communications, which are intended to be a basis for conversation and analysis of research in education from the perspective of the participants. Papers may be submitted based on several lines: 1) Problems, limitations and advances in educational research; 2) The contributions of networks to educational research; 3) The role of research networks in education policies; 3) Transdisciplinarity in educational research; 4) Contributions from the different areas of knowledge. From this work, shared dialogues will be carried out.
On the first day, participants will attend the Conference "Crossing Boundaries in the Collaborative Construction of Research [in Education] That Does Not Contradict Itself". by José Antonio Caride Gómez, member of SIPS – USC. During the afternoon, group worktables will take the form of conversations. In the evening, attendees will be able to enjoy a magical visit to the historic center of Santiago de Compostela. The day will end with a dinner, as a space for meeting, conversation and tasting of the wonderful Galician gastronomy. On the second day, the XVIII General Meeting of RETINDE and the Elections to the Executive Committee will be held. The congress will end with a closing ceremony.
As on previous occasions, this meeting will be completely free for attendees. The contributions of each participant will serve as a basis for discussing, analyzing and deepening the challenges, limitations and possibilities of educational research at this historical moment.
