Professor Rebeca García Murias, as a member of the NICE Network, participates in the " 2024 NICE Academy "Retracing our roots: Cultivating the Future of Career Guidance and Counseling" congress that took place at the Saxion University of Deventer (The Netherlands), on September 18-21, 2024.
The meeting was held within the framework of the NICE Network. Network for Innovation in Career Guidance and Counselling in Europe, of which she has been a member as a partner and founder for 15 years. This year, with the meeting, they celebrated their Tenth Anniversary and, through a symposium, different members of the network, all of them professionals in the field of guidance in an international environment, were invited to exchange experiences and challenges achieved during their trajectory over the years.
One of the hot topics was the future of career guidance through the impact of artificial intelligence (AI). In addition, other topics addressed were: Current trends in career guidance and advice, specifically in relation to migration, digitalization, international work and academic-professional mobility; the latest research on career guidance and counseling; AI competencies; networking with career guidance professionals in Europe; and supervision on career support or academic training.
