Within the framework of the I Convocatoria de Proxectos de Innovación Educativa directed to the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education Sciences of the USC, a meeting was held last Wednesday 18th of September in the Assembly Hall of this faculty (North Campus). The purpose was to present the multiple experiences that took place during the academic year 2023-2024 in different degrees and subjects.
In this context, different members of the Stellae Research Group presented their projects. Firstly, Esther Vila, from the subjects of ‘Classroom Organisation and Management’ and ‘Observation and Analysis: School and Context’ taught in the 2nd year of the Degree in Early Childhood Education Teacher and the Double Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education Teacher, presented ‘A terceira mestra: obsérvaa e constrúea’, where the importance of space as a further educational tool was emphasised, with the aim of visiting, observing and analysing the spaces in a school in order to then make improvements to the organisation of classrooms and playgrounds in Early Childhood Education.

The project was entitled ‘Galimap: mapa interactivo dos materiais didácticos sociocomunitarios dos concellos de Galicia. Unha proposta dende a educación social’, becoming the only repository of its kind and consisting of the collection of resources from different Galician municipalities and their transfer to a digital map, with the purpose that education professionals can easily find didactic materials that are useful for their work.
