Virginia Rodés, who has defended her thesis recently obtaining the qualification of cum laude; Adriana Gewerc, coordinator of the GI Stellae; and Martín Llamas, from the University of Vigo, have published the article "University Teachers and Open Educational Resources: Case Studies from Latin America" ​​in The International Review of Research in Open and Distributed Learning; an open access electronic journal, indexed in JCR, Q1.

In which they describe the results of an investigation in which they analyzed the dimensions of the adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER) by university professors in their pedagogical practices. A study of 12 cases of Latin American universities, based on Grounded Theory. Where it is evident that the use and reuse of OER lack public and institutional policies, being the main agents organized in teams that support the adoption of OER, with mainly intrinsic motivations, such as the pleasure derived from contributing and sharing, as well as the needs related to the professional development of the reflection on the educational practice itself.
