On October 1, in the number 69 of Comunicar, Fernando Fraga-Varela, Esther Vila-Couñago and Esther Martínez-Piñeiro have published the article Impact of serious games on mathematical fluency: a study in Primary Education. This study is an action of the RDI Project Digital Environments and Gender Identities in Adolescence (EDIGA), with reference PID2019-108221RB-100, within the framework of the State Program for the Generation of Knowledge and Scientific and Technological Strengthening of the RDI System and the State Program of RDI Oriented to the Challenges of Society, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Government of Spain.

We highlight the relevance of the publication due to its theme and interest in current school environments where references are needed on the potential for the use of serious games and gamification. Also the position of the publication in a journal that is currently in 2nd position worldwide in SCOPUS and 7th in the world in JCR (top 1% and 3% worldwide; percentiles 99% and 97% respectively). In JCR-JIF she is Q1 in Education and

Communication (1st in Spanish). In SCOPUS she is Q1 in Education, Communication and Cultural Studies (1st in Spanish).
