Dr. Isaac Marrero will meet with the Stellae Research Group, through the TEAMS platform, on March 11 and 25 to give the seminar: "Objects of affection: ethnographic strategies for working with images".

He holds a PhD in visual anthropology and a teaching career at Goldsmiths, University of London. His work examines the relationship between activism, aesthetic practices, and the production of new conditions of possibility.

This seminar integrates the training cycle that the G.I. Stellae develops with the EDIGA project, Digital Environments and Gender Identities in Adolescence, in which different methodological strategies have been deepened such as virtual ethnography with Dra. Elisenda Ardévol or discourse analysis with Professor Daniel Saur. This new perspective that Isaac Marrero will provide through his experience in different investigations will contribute to the advancement of the different investigations that are being developed within the G.I Stellae.
