On 7 May, one of the latest books published within the framework of Stellae, entitled ‘Physical education at school: resources, experiences and innovative practices in early childhood and primary education’, was presented. Two of the coordinators of the book, Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez and Raúl Eirín Nemiña, participated in this event, as well as some of the authors of the main chapters: Pablo Franco López, Carol Jean Gillanders, Javier Rico Díaz, Geno Rodríguez Fernández, Silvia López Gómez and Ana Rodríguez Guimeráns.

The event was aimed at students of the corporal expression subject of the Early Childhood Education Degrees with the objective of creating a space for reflection and debate on innovative pedagogical practices in the field of physical education.

This book is a valuable tool for teachers and educators interested in exploring new ways of teaching at the Infant and Primary Education stages. Through a careful selection of resources, experiences and innovative practices, the book's coordinators and participants offer a comprehensive view of the educational potential of physical education at school by reflecting on fundamental aspects of development such as socialisation, the promotion of autonomy, conflict resolution and educational inclusion through physical activity.

It is worth noting that the book is available for free download at the following link: https://www.dykinson.com/libros/la-educacion-fisica-en-la-escuela-recursos-experiencias-y-practicas-innovadoras-en-educacion-infantil-y-primaria/9788411706766/
