The PRISMA SOCIAL magazine has announced an exciting opportunity for researchers, academics, and professionals in the field of education. The magazine invites the submission of articles for its upcoming special issue, which will address the theme "Digital Technology and Socioeducational Development in Local Communities." This special issue will be coordinated by education experts, Dr. Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez, Dr. Silvia López Gómez, Dr. David Santomil Mosquera from the University of Santiago de Compostela, and Dr. Mª Montserrat Castro Rodríguez from the University of La Coruña.

The purpose of this special issue is to explore the influence and potential of Digital Technology in the socioeducational development of local communities, both in urban and rural contexts. The magazine is committed to showcasing the main research studies related to this topic in the municipal sphere and providing a space for the exchange of knowledge and ideas about the possibilities and challenges of Digital Technology in local entities.

The objectives of this special issue include:

Systematizing and identifying research studies that focus on the use of Digital Technology in socioeducational development processes in municipal contexts. Reflecting on the challenges faced by education professionals when introducing Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the development of socioeducational processes in municipal contexts.

The deadline for article submissions is April 1, 2024, and the publication of this special issue is scheduled for July 2024.
